about that! Looks like Western Spirit offers an awesome
trip through Yellowstone
& The Gravelly Range. Wow! We can bike through
this grand place? Biking, Yellowstone, and great friends......what
more could you possibly ask for?
Yellowstone
is a truly inspiring place. It is one of the only
places in the world where one can actually witness
dynamic geologic forces at work. Unlike most geologic
wonders, where change happens over millions of years,
in Yellowstone things change from week to week! And
when you see all the geysers, hot springs, and fumaroles,
you will understand why. In addition to the geology,
the abundant wildlife flourishing in the greater Yellowstone
area will astound you. This is definitely our best
trip for viewing wildlife.
Ok,
can we do something that is fairly easy, but is still
in the mountains? Why yes, we also do a Grand
Tetons & Island Park Bike Trip.
On this trip
we will be riding through the meadows and valleys
of Island Park just west of Grand Teton National Park.
Our route takes us on old railroad grades and forest
service roads through the backcountry along many beautiful
streams and rivers. There is very little elevation
change so that both the climbing and descending are
quite manageable. In addition to the biking, there
are lots of opportunities for fly fishing, hiking,
and swimming along the way.
Taking
your Wyoming Bike Club on a Western Spirit Bike Trip
will be one of the most memorable experiences of your
