Longs
Peak is the only 14,000-foot peak located within
Rocky Mountain National Park, and is the most
frequently climbed of Colorado's fourteeners.
It towers over its surrounding peaks in the
northern Front Range of the Colorado Rockies.
Its most notable feature is its spectacular
1,675-foot east face, a portion of which, the
sheer 1,000-foot Diamond Face, has long been
respected by climbers as an extraordinary challenge.
