St. George, Utah
This tour will begin at 7:30 a.m. at the Ambassador
Inn, 1481 South Sunland Drive, St. George, Utah 84770,
877-373-7900 or 435-673-7900. After loading the van we will drive the 2 1/2
hours to Red Canyon, the beginning of the ride. You will need
to spend the night in St. George because none of the shuttle
services from Las Vegas run early enough.
GETTING TO ST.
GEORGE
-Driving. St. George is located 120 miles north of Las Vegas
on Interstate 15. There is parking available at the hotel
while you are on the trip.
-Flying into St. George, UT Delta connects in Salt Lake City and United connects in Los Angeles.
-Flying into
Las Vegas. There are two options.
a) The most convenient way to get from Las Vegas to St. George is to take a shuttle with St. George Shuttle. The cost is $30 each way. There is a $5 surcharge each way if you are traveling with your bike and it must be in a bike box. Shuttles depart from the Las Vegas Airport nine times daily. Call for departure points. Shuttles leave St. George also nine times daily. Shuttle time is about 2 hours. St George is one hour ahead of Las Vegas. You need to reserve your seat for this service so call St. George Shuttle at 800-933-8320 or 435-628-8320.
b) You can rent a car in Las Vegas and park it at the hotel.
-Flying into
Salt Lake City. There are two options.
a) Rent a car and drive to St George. This is a 5 hour drive.
b) Take the St. George Shuttle. To do this take a cab to Midvale, the shuttle departs from the Best Western Executive Inn, 7200 South 300 West in Midvale, daily at 2:20 pm and costs $110 round trip. For your return, the shuttle departs from St. George daily at 8:00 am. For departure points and to reserve your seat call 800-933-8320.

You will receive a tour packing list with
your tour confirmation package. Be sure to bring everything
on this list. Weather on the plateau
can be unpredictable so be sure to bring all the warm clothing
and rain gear listed! Please pack all of your gear in
a medium to large duffel bag. It will ride in the trailer. If

SHIPPING YOUR
BIKE
To ship your bike UPS, send it to Zion Cycles, 868 Zion Park Blvd., Springdale, UT, 84767, 435-772-0400.
It is critical that you include your name, “Western Spirit Cycling”
and tour date on the outside of the box. Check with your local
UPS people for the number of days needed for it to arrive in
time. Your guides will pick up your bike and bring it to the
Ambassador Inn the morning of the trip. It is imperative to
have your bike finely tuned and cleaned before your tour so
you know it is in top running condition.
