MEETING PLACE AND TIME

Moab, Utah
This trip will meet at 1:00 p.m. at Western Spirit Cycling, 478 Mill Creek Drive, Moab, Utah. After loading the van, we will drive to the Boulder Mountain Lodge for our first night. The drive is approximately 4 1/2 hours. Lunch will not be provided on Sunday but we will be happy to pick you up at your hotel, please call us Mon-Fri, 9-5 to schedule your pickup.
You may meet us in Hanksville, Utah at 3:30 pm if this is more suitable to your travel plans. Please call us for specific instructions.

GETTING TO MOAB

-Driving.
Moab is located 30 miles south of Interstate 70 on Highway 191. We have a roomy parking area.

-Flying into Salt Lake City. From Salt Lake City there are 2 options.
1.) Rent a car and drive to Moab and park it at our shop while you are on your tour. The drive is approximately 4-4 1/2 hours.
2.) Take the Bighorn Express Shuttle with Utah Shuttle Services. This shuttle leaves the Salt Lake airport Mon - Sat at 8:30 am and arrives in Moab at 1:00 pm at the Ramada Inn. It leaves Moab Mon - Sat from the Ramada Inn at 2:30pm and arrives in Salt Lake at 7:45 pm. Round trip fare is $138 one way is $69. To book your seat, call 888-655-7433 or 801-746-3023.

-Flying into Grand Junction, Colorado.
Rent a car from Thrifty Car Rental and drive to Moab. Compact cars rent for approximately $49/day with a $75 drop fee, rates vary. Be sure to reserve one for the drive back. The drive is approximately 2 hours. Moab 435-259-7317, Grand Junction 970-243-7556 or 800-373-0277.

-Flying into Moab.
Great Lakes Aviation flies from Denver to Moab for $104 each way. They have two flights daily. Scheduled flight times and additional pricing can be found on their website www.flygreatlakes.com. Or call 800-554-5111 to make a reservation.

PACKING FOR YOUR TRIP

You will receive a tour packing list with your tour confirmation package. Be sure to bring everything on this list! The desert is a land of extremes and it does actually rain at times, so be prepared. Please pack all of your gear in a medium to large duffel bag. It will ride in the trailer. If you have any questions about anything on the list, please call us.

MASSAGE THERAPY

If you are interested in a massage after your tour, we recommend Sue Berkhahn at 435-260-2675. Please call in advance to schedule an appointment.

SHIPPING YOUR BIKE

To ship your bike UPS, send it to Western Spirit Cycling 478 Mill Creek Dr. Moab, UT 84532. It is critical that you include your name and tour date on the outside of the box. Check with your local UPS people for the number of days needed for it to arrive in time. There is no Saturday delivery to Moab. It is imperative to have your bike finely tuned and cleaned before your tour so you know it is in top running condition.
