We have carefully developed this list to insure your comfort on the Costa Rica Mountain Bike Adventure regardless of the weather. If you bring everything listed and little else, you will be well prepared. When packing, remember you must plan for the extremes. It may be sunny, humid and hot or it may be stormy and wet.

Note: For rafting on the La Vuelta Sur trip, a hydrophobic or polypropylene top is suggested.

2 lightweight long sleeve shirts
1 light sweater or fleece for the evening

sandals/flip flops (like Teva's secure to your feet)

Your guides work as a team and share all of their gratuities. A tip of 5-15% of the price of your trip given to either one of your guides when you return to civilization is a great way to say thanks for a job well done.

HOW TO PACK: Your luggage will ride in the Western Spirit support vehicle and will not generally be accessible during the day. Please refer to your confirmation letter for more information.

* IN YOUR DAY PACK: Please bring a small daypack to store things needed during the day such as rain gear, prescription drugs and sunscreen. This will ride in the vehicle and be accessible throughout the day.
