|
Support Vehicle.
Our customized trucks and vans carry all of your gear
as well as many camper comforts! We have the coolest custom
F-450's in the industry.
|
Our guides
have incredible backcountry experience, but
the best part is that they are all super friendly and
look forward to a week of riding with you.
|
|
Campsites.
We camp primarily in pristine locations where it's quiet, dark and peaceful. The finest morning view
comes with a hot cup of cowboy coffee.

are included from our meeting place to the start of your

Many of our trips take place in national parks and on
public land. All of entry

For this season we
are happy to announce our continued partnership with Specialized.
We rent 2010 Specialized FSR XC Comp
full suspension bikes, equipped with hydraulic disc brakes, for $40
per day. We have a full range of sizes and will need your
height to get you properly fitted. For our family trips we also rent a full range
of kid sized Specialized bikes, trail-a-longs and burley trailers. Bike rentals include a helmet.
The mountain bikes are specified with an
X-fusion rear shock with lockout, Rock Shox Tora front fork with 120mm
travel, Avid Juicy disc brakes and Shimano new SLX componentry.
The bikes are equipped with flat pedals. If you ride clipless pedals,
we suggest you bring them with you and we will put them on your rental
bike. You may also bring your own saddle if you have one you love.

Specialized FSR XC Comp
Mountain Bike
"Thanks to its trimmed-down chassis and fully active FSR rear suspension, the FSRxc is the choice for those who would ride all day if the opportunity arose. " - Specialized
|
We rent Sierra Designs
and Mountain Hardware two-man tents, 20-degree sleeping bags and Thermarest
pads. A package for one person is $90/tour. |
|
You are welcome to bring your own camping
gear and/or bicycle. We highly recommend having your bike tuned
up before your tour so you know it is in top running condition.
Our guides are fine mechanics, but there aren't any bike shops
in the backcountry!
If you plan to travel with your bike, check with your airline for any additional fees. Most
airlines charge at least $75 each way to fly with your bike.
We suggest you ship your bike to us in advance. For a $160 fee we will unpack your bike, build it, and ship it home after
your tour. Domestic shipping only.
When your deposit has been processed, you
will receive a Confirmation Package. In it you will find:
Packing List of what to bring
Trip itinerary
Travel logistics
Sample menu
Billing statement
Acknowledgment of risk form
Registration form
CSA Travel Insurance Brochure
On your registration
form, you will have the opportunity to tell us about any health
or diet restrictions, and reserve rental equipment, if you have
not already done so.
